For dedicated service to Education in Pakistan

After gaining his PhD, despite being offered a position in industry he preferred to join the teaching profession to play his role for the progress of his country, quoting JF Kennedy “our progress as a nation can be no swifter than our progress in education”.

Tanveer Hussein is head of the Textile Chemistry Dept at the National Textile University of Pakistan.
