Colour Fastness to Chlorination: Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate

This method is additional to the method given in BS 2670 since a different agency is used for the shrink-resist treatment. The method has been developed for the Society of Dyers and Colourists and has been submitted to ISO/TC38/SC1 for development as an International Standard. International inter-laboratory trials are at present being conducted. A report of the preparatory work conducted in the UK together with other background information is published in this issue of the Journal. The intention is to include this method in the UK section of the new edition of BS 1006. This new edition will contain the methods in the present edition of BS 1006, together with the methods in BS 2661- 86 and BS 3661/1 to 3661/21
