Experiment!

The paper explains in non-statistical language the advantages, use and interpretation of statistically designed experiments as used in textile wet processing. A computer program is provided for the interpretation phase. Two examples of bleaching processes are given as illustrations of the principles, and the program used to process the results is also quoted. Finally the essential questions which need to be answered before carrying out any investigation are listed
