Fixation Characteristics of Carboxylated Dyes on Polyamide Fibres

Reactions of dyes, some of which contain a carboxylic acid group, on polyamide have been investigated using nine different types of differing chemical structures. Fixation characteristics and dye-fibre bond stability to alkaline washing were also studied. Light fastness and ability to cover barre effects on nylon were investigated.
