Gold Medal awarded 2009 to Prof Chun Wah Marcus Yuen

For outstanding service to the SDC and education and training in Hong Kong.

Marcus Yuen has published over 100 papers in refereed journals relating to coloration and textile processing. He has supervised eleven PhD and 5 MPhil students at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has been Hon Treasurer of the HK region since 1991 and is actively involved in organising many activities such as seminars, forums, publications and conferences in Hong Kong
