Instrumental Methods in Fastness Testing

The fastness characteristics of textile and other materials are an important property. The Society has long been engaged in helping to develop standard methods of fastness testing. This paper is a brief account of developments in recent years leading to instrumental methods for assessing the fastness of textile materials.
