Introduction of Instrumentation to the Continuous Dyeing of Polyester-cotton Blends

Uniform, constant dyeing conditions are the main criteria for successful, continuous dyeing. The following paper describes possible means of ensuring these favourable conditions by the introduction of automation and the type of equipment available to do so. In all cases, the type of automation discussed is a monitoring device, measuring and recording the process variables continuously.
