Melt-transfer and Film-release Systems of Transfer Printing

As interest in transfer coloration extends beyond the somewhat narrow confines which are a feature of today’s technology and serious efforts are made to utilize transfer methods in the coloration of natural as well as synthetic fibres, the two methods of approach which do not depend on vapour transfer are likely to grow in importance and seem likely to displace the present procedures in terms of yardage produced. This paper discusses both methods of approach, melt-transfer and film-release systems of transfer printing
