Graduated from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology as Doctor of Science (1942); works chemist in two commission dyehouses in Switzerland (1942-56); joined Geigy AG, Basle (1956); held various leading positions in marketing and application groups of Dyestuffs and Chemicals Division, CGY (1956 to date).
