In years to come the sight of little white fleeced lambs in the fields in springtime may be an unusual one, due to a new type of fox repellent. Foxes and badgers have always been responsible for the slaughter of thousands of new-born lambs, but now there is a new treatment which could make these losses a thing of the past, explains Louise Weaver
