Soil Deposition on Shrink-resist-treated Wool Fabrics in the Presence of Anionic and Non-ionic Surfactants
The deposition of carbon black on shrink-resist-treated wool fabric, and on untreated wool, in the presence of different mixtures of anionic (sodium dodecylbenzenesulphonate and sodium dioctylsulphosuccinate) and non-ionic (Triton X-100) surfactants has been investigated. An electrokinetic study was also carried out, under similar conditions; the zeta potential was obtained, which was related to the amount of deposition found.
