Textile Auxiliaries: Dispersing Agents

Dispersing agents represent a high proportion of all commercial disperse and vat dye formulations. In addition they are widely used as direct additions to dyebaths. This paper reviews (i) their mode of action (ii) their use in dye manufacture (iii) their use with disperse, vat, sulphur and other dye types (iv) associated test methods
