Over forty young Hong Kong designers from four institutions across the country entered the Hong Kong heat of the International Design Competition on 8th September at the prestigious Hong Kong Polytechnic University. From a fabulous show of impressive designs, Tsang Lok-yiu, Yoyo, a student of The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong was selected selected as the favourite to take first place by a panel of industry professional judges including:
Mr. Brian Tam – Design and Marketing Consultant, The Woolmark Company
Dr. CP Ho – Assistant Professor Fashion & Textile Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Well done also to respective Runners-up, Chu Kee-wai, Newton aso from The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong and Yu Sze-ki, Yusky from the Hong Kong Design Institute.
Yoyo will attend the prestigious Grand Final in Sri Lanka where she will compete against the top design talent from around the world to be the global winner.
