ColorQ Training Academy — colour and its relationship within film production

Colour science, its relationship within film production and the psychology behind how colour influences viewers’ mood and emotions was discussed during our latest webinar — with many SDC members and non-members in attendance.

Daniel Mulligan is a Colour Scientist and has been practising film production for 30 years, with jobs in F1 as well film work and features. Last year Daniel was involved in the installation of the world’s largest LED Volume in Melbourne, Australia. Now, he runs ColorQ as a Training Academy for Colour Science. 

Taking the transition from film to digital in 2004 with Viper cameras, Daniel has been involved in the development of sensors and workflows, and has vast experience in colour science for film production, DI, grading and VFX.
