attending CEN TC 248 WG 14 meeting on testing of textiles for UV sun protection.

CEN experts received presentations on
1.what UV wavelengths hits earth's surface
2. which wavelengths are considered most of concern for sun burn
3. how fabrics can be assessed for UV transmission
4. understanding which parts of the the body most often develop skin cancer or severe sun burn ( currently no clarity is sun exposure causes cancer or simply correlation between both)

aim is to revise the current BS EN 13758-1 and -2 This might support revision of PPE regulations
