An interesting form of coloration for cellulosics. Azoics require a controlled chemical reaction between 2 products within the fibre to create the final coloured entity. As you go through this course remember that any azoic coupling component can be combined with any diazotised base so that 30 different Naphthol and 50 bases,can yield 1500 possible combinations and the colour is only developed in the actual fibre.
