Individual Unemployed Membership (Annual)

The Society’s Board may approve a reduction in the Annual Subscription in specific cases of hardship or other special circumstances, eg if your work role was made redundant and you are unemployed.

The reduction is normally for a year to assist you to remain in membership and also get back into paid work.

We recommend you also contacting us so we are aware you are seeking employment and can point you towards any vacancies of which we are aware.  (NB The SDC does not offer such a service for employed members as we can then end up assisting members to leave a SDC Company Member and join another, leading to a loss of good will). The Unemployed Annual Subscription can be taken out online and we shall follow this up to check your circumstances and offer what support we can.
