The SDC Community provides a space for current SDC Members to advertise Colour related job vacancies free of charge. There is also an area where those seeking employment (paid or unpaid) in Colour related jobs can post their CVs.

The Cost of this, both for uploading CVs and advertising job vacancies, is free of charge for current SDC Members.  All we ask of those recruiting is that they fund the SDC Membership of their new recruit.  This is to support their new employee with access to our webinar catalogue free of charge to ensure knowledge and skill development, plus ensure the new employee can join in with SDC events and gain support from other Colourists.  The Society also benefits from more members in participation in SDC activities and support from those active in regional and head office committees for example.  Currently individual membership starts from £70 pa for employed individuals and so this is a tiny amount compared to the commission usually paid for job recruitment services commercially.  We also would welcome companies looking into placing new employees on our online courses leading to a SDC Qualification and the SDC offers various levels according to prior skills, knowledge and qualifications.  Contact edu@sdc.org.uk to discuss our courses in more detail.
