Textile Coloration Science and Technology Leading to the Textile Coloration Certificate

This component of the Textile Coloration Science and Technology learning pathway is a unique course designed to meet the needs of the textile industry by educating the world about the science behind coloration processes.
The course is part time, a total of 3 years in duration,

Part 1, Year 1 – 1 academic year, 2 taught modules, as below, comprising 8 and 12 hours contact time and 32 and 48 hours of independent learning respectively. Leads to the Foundation Textile Coloration Certificate FTCC and access to Part 2.

Part 2, Years 1 and 2 – 2 academic years, 3 modules per year consisting of a total of 40 hours contact time and 80 hours independent learning. leads to the Textile Coloration Certificate TCC

Textile Coloration Science and Technology Course (level 6), leading to ASDC

Textile Coloration Science and Technology, leading to Associateship of the Society of Dyers and Colourists (ASDC) is the only professional qualification for colourists worldwide. Textile Coloration Science and Technology has been independently benchmarked by UK NARIC (now Ecctis) and has been found to be comparable to FHEQ Level 6 (Framework for Higher Education Qualifications).

A UK bachelor degree with honours is also classified within FHEQ Level 6.

This course, delivered online over 3 years, will reveal the fundamental processes of the coloration of textiles and the content is provided by world renowned experts in the field.
