SDC Midlands Region Annual General Meeting 2025, Talk and Presentation Evening

The SDC Midlands Region are holding their AGM on Wednesday 12th March 2025 at Nottingham Trent University from 6:30pm in the Newton Building, LT5 Lecture Theatre.
This will be followed with a talk from Dr. Bintan Titisari, ‘Colour, Creativity & Innovation: Designing for a Changing World’.
Bintan’s talk will explore how colour, creativity, and innovation can be powerful tools in responding to global challenges. Bintan will discuss innovations in natural and bio-based colourants, highlighting sustainability through real-world examples and emerging trends. The talk will balance technical insights with accessible ideas for the audience interested in print, dyes, sustainability, and innovative technology.

The Midlands Heat of the SDC International Design Competition will be held from 1:30pm, AGM at 6:30pm with guest speaker Bintan Titisari & presentations to the winner and runners up of the design competition to follow at 7:00pm.
