Linda Hodgson has 25 years experience in Textile Design and Print and a BA (Hons) in surface pattern design.  Linda is also keen on ongoing professional development and indeed is a SDC FTCC student.  She has also been Chair of the SDC Northern Region for several years and is a past visiting lecturer at the Universities of Leeds, Staffordshire, Derby, Bradford & Leeds Arts.

In 2014 Linda took on a role in helping set up the digital print section of Sharps fabric printers starting with a single small machine and progressing to four, further added to in both staff and more machinery two years later.  Linda is also very keen about the SDC Archive with the past informing the present both for the Society and industry.

Linda will be known to many as she has been involved in the SDC International Design Competition for some years and has many international connections.  The passing on of knowledge to the younger generation by inspirational SDC Members is important for Linda and she wants to help make this happen in education and in manufacturing.
