Spike Ngai CCol ASDC
Mr. Spike CM NGAI joined Immune Materials as the Chief Operating Officer in 2022. He currently serves as the Committee Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Textile and Apparel and the Honorary Treasurer of the Hong Kong Association of Textile Bleachers, Dyers, Printers and Finishers.
He was the former Chairman of the Hong Kong Society of Dyers & Colourists, the former Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Institution of Textile and Apparel and the board member of the Textile and Clothing Training Board of Vocational Training Council.
Spike earned a Master of Art degree with Distinction in Global Fashion Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a Master of Social Sciences degree in Corporate Environmental Governance at The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Computer Science at Victoria University of Technology. He is also a Chartered Colourists and Associate of the Society of Dyers and Colourists, a Chartered Textile Technologist and Associate of the Textile Institute, a Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Textile and Apparel, a Senior Member of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, a Senior Member of China Textile Engineering Society, a Full Member of Hong Kong Computer Society and a Member and Certified Technologist of Australian Computer Society. Spike served for two 3-year terms as a Society’s Board Trustee and is now a member of the SDC Nominations Committee.
Spike is an expert on functional textile with 20 years plus experience. He is also a frequent speaker and presenter at international fashion and textile conferences and seminars and an active guest speaker at universities and international institutions.
Spike was elected to the SDC Nominations Committee in 2023 for a three-year term to the SDC AGM date in 2026.
