Introduction to Colour Management

This course is aimed at anyone who works with colour and is involved, either directly or indirectly,
with its efficient control and effective communication.
Effective and efficient colour communication is the key to success and efficiency in the textile industry to
deliver the right colour, in the right place, at the right time.
Designed to help people work, think and learn more effectively, they focus on those topics of direct concern
when working with colour. This course provides the basic knowledge to ensure that everyone in the supply
chain knows how to best manage colour and talk the same language.

Content:
• An understanding of the equipment best practice and maintenance.
• The importance of colour vision, and experience of verbal colour communication and terminology.
• This session involves the candidate in hands on colour assessment and the correct use of dyers terms
